I had no idea how this one would end up - i just went with the flow and it has been a long flow as i really haven't touched this for two weeks (just too much else happening and too busy to scrap)
I liked the whole 'pop up' idea from the music film clip - the little girl sitting in the bed is looking at a pop up book, and thought that it shouldnt be too hard to make a layout into a pop up type effect.
So this is what i came up with. This is it all folded up - a 12x12 sheet of cardstock.
and opened up.
The trees, grass, mushrooms, clouds and Piper all 'pop up'. The dimension of it all is hard to see here......it just looks like a busy mess!

Oh my #@*!? Goodness!! that is amazing Amanda - you are very very clever. As Karen said - it looks just like Piper's very own little pop-up book. Just beautiful!! The Sass papers make it look very whimsical.

WOWEE ... I am so glad you got it done ... it looks amazing!!! All the extra touches look spectacular ... rubons, bling, I especially love the title / alphas!! The wings look excellent ... looks like a transparency?? More mystical than the other wings.

Stunning Amanda, looks like it took a lot of time, bet Piper loves it it is like a little dolls house.
I too had a thought of doing a pop up but that was very quickly followed by 'too hard'.
so how do they all pop up???

Thanks for the kick up the bum Maryanne - i haven't submitted anything recent of mine for a little while.
Tiff they pop up exactly the same way a pop up book/card works - with a cut out tab at the back which pushes each element up and out as the project is opened. (this is for the trees). The other things just had tabs on the back - a bit fiddly!
oh and as for Piper thinking she is in a fairytale book - her first comment was a delighted - 'ooooooh i have got little fairy wings on!'
